New tucks

Good morning all.
I am feeling like a truck ran me over today. I have allergies and I was outside
yesterday doing yardwork. So today I am yucky.

I wanted to show you a few things that I listed in my ETSY shop today.

I really liked how this one turned out. I hand stitched everything except actually sewing both sides together to make the pillow.

Next up...

Little tuck that says Only Believe. This comes from one of my favorite song..
Only Believe, Only Believe, all things are possible, Only Believe.

They are both in my EYST SHOP

I am also having a giveaway....Will announce it on May 1st. So come back and see me.

Have a wonderful and Blessed Sunday.

Something For Me

Happy Saturday all!
Hope everyone is doing fine.

I wanted to share something I have been working on and have completed.
I have had this image of this little girl for a while and decided to make a collage for myself.

I decided to make me something to hang on my inspiration board that hangs above my craft desk.
It is about 5in X 7in.
It has covered scrapbook paper and vintage McCalls pattern glued on it.
I stamped the words INSPIRE,DREAM,CREATE on a piece of osnaburg.

isn't she just the cutest ever!
I LOVE that image!

I made a crochet flower, and put a mini  spool of thread on it with the stamped word timeless.
Hung it from a piece of Jute and put it on my board.

I am sure she will INSPIRE me to create lots of goodies! I usually don't create for myself, I like giving more...but this little girl is mine to keep.

Birthdays and Blessings

The Lord is always Faithful.
It really is that simple.
His Word says so...

Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, extend to the skies, and Your faithfulness to the clouds. Psalm 36: 5

As some of you know we have a grand-daughter that my son has been fighting in court to see. Things are winding down and soon the judge will decide what is best for
this little one.

Yesterday we got to see Ayva, our 3 year old grand-daughter. It was at an indoor mall playground. I have not smiled so much in a long time.
I said Ayva pose for me..LOL..this is what she did.
It has been since June of last year that I have got to see her.
She is so full of energy and talks so much.

Pray with me that the Lord will give favor to my son, and he will get to see her every other week without supervision from the mom. Also that the Lord opens the mother's heart.

Zoe my niece turned 6 last month. Can you believe she is 6, well I can't
It was mainly all girls screaming ohhh, and ahhh..everytime a gift was open. I can't wait until I can have Ayva and Zoe over at the same time..I will needs lots of energy!

What have you been up to this weekend.

Anniversary, crows, and garden time!

Happy Wednesday all.

This week I have the WHOLE week of of work. I am taking advantage of every minute I have.
Boy I sure do get alot done when I dont have to work..LOL

Yesterday Hubby and I celebrated our 20th wedding Anniversary.

What has 20 years taught me:
Patience, Love deeper then I ever thought I knew, Learning that I dont have to be right, that there was someone made for me to Love me, to let loose of controling things, that hard times are better when they are shared, having a Best Friend all the time, Learning to let him lead our home, it is good to be a wife, knowing he Loves our kids with all he has, Most of all that Once we put God FIRST in our marriage anything and everything is possible.

John is truly a blessing to me!

*******************************************
Today the weather is nice! It is cool a little windy but the birds are chirping!
My youngest son and I have decided to try planting a garden.

This is what we are planting for now.
squash, watermelon,spinach,tomatos,and cantlope.

I DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT have a green thumb!
Sooo..Im going to do my best at helping our son, but these little plants are going to need lots of prayer lol

We have not yet decided where to put the garden, so we are starting in these little pots.
We have decided to do a raised box garden. Justin wants it on wheels to move around since summer in Arizona will be here soon and he can move them in and out of the shade.
( crossing fingers and toes LOL)

My First Fabric Collage

Hi there everyone.
I have been under the weather the last week.
At first thought it was the stomach flu,
but ended up in the ER Tuesday night with what felt like
LABOR pains!

Not really sure what it was, going to follow up with my GI doctor. Could be my Gastroparesis acting up or something new. Prayers for healing are appriciated. :)

I finally finished my first fabric collage.
I started this a while ag, put it away and pulled it back out.

This is my grandparents. The ones who raised me. They have passed on to be with the Lord, but I wanted something really special of them hanging in my home.

I stamped fabric and handsewed everything except the border.

In person it looks really neat!  If you haven't made one...try it...they are so much fun!
