Scripture Sunday

I hope that you have had a great week.

This is probably one of the most quoted scriptures I hear from people.

It brings comfort to those that are going through something.
Something that on their own they can not do.

We are not supposed to be able to do things on our own. We are to depend on the Lord
for everything that we need.

Not in my strength but in His that I can do all things.

Hope you have a blessed Sunday.

The number 22

On April 9th hubby and I celebrated out 22nd Wedding Anniversary.

We decided to travel to Northern Arizona for a day trip. It was a cool 54 degrees there.
Lots of sunshine.
Clean air and of the smell of pine trees!

We went to this amazing place called Bearizona! We have been a few times and every time it is more exciting then the time before!

It is a drive through park and you see so many animals. Yes including Bears!

This was one of my favorites.
The crow was so trying to snatch food from this bear. He would cover it with his paws. :)

There was a show that has all these wonderful birds. They would fly about an inch over your head!

When this beauty flew inches over my head I remember just how small I am in this word.
Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!

This next picture to me needs no words. The lighting, the pine trees, the beautiful animal.
Just perfect.

In this section of the park we could have the windows down. They were so close to us!

The wolves were beautiful. They were also NOT shy at all.

They would just come up to the car. They were very interested in our tires.

There was so much to see. We spent about 4 hours there. We will go again.

But this next picture shows the TRUE reason why I found so much joy visiting Bearizona.

The SMILE that is on my husbands face. He was able to feed the otters fish.
John has such a connection with animals.
The smile on his face is priceless.

I have been blessed with many years with him and I pray the Lord will bless us with many more.
He is a Christ loving man. He follows the Lord with all his heart.
He puts Christ first in our marriage and loves me so much.

I am one blessed lady! I love you John!

Scripture Sunday

I think Trusting the Lord is so easy to do when every thing is going along fine.

You know what I mean.
The bills are all paid on time.
The scale moves a few pounds down this week.
You didn't spill anything in your car.
No supper was stuck to any pans.
Your spouse put his shoes away.
The kids did the dishes without me hounding  asking them to.

But then life happens. The real life.
The one that is not going to wonderfully well.

The one where you gained 3 pounds and you didn't even have that much cake this week.
Where you had to pay your water bill and asked the electric company to hold off a week.
The extra large coke didn't quite make it to the cup holder
and has left a wonderful mess on your car carpet.
You tried to make something special for dinner and forgot it in the oven until the smoke alarm reminded you.
If only your spouse did pick up their shoes, then maybe you would not have tripped over them.

Yep, that right there is what is real life, for me anyhow.

But all the time I am reminded to TRUST in God.
When I don't know how I am going to pay the car payment, yet here we are still driving it because He always provides.
He has never let me down, not one single time.

Friendship Friday

One of the things that I love about blogging is
meeting other bloggers and being a part of their online life.

Some have the same interests as me. While others don't.

So I decided to do Friendship Fridays on my blog.
Where we can get to know another blogger.

First up is Jackie from Stitching Time Boutique

I love stitcheries and Jackie has some beautiful ones.

If you have a fisherman in your life this would be perfect.

This she is adorable. I love the burlap on him.

Jackie is also having a GIVEAWAY!

I hope you take the time to head over to Jackie's blog and follow her,
and join me right here every Friday to meet a new blogging friend.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Praise You Jesus!

One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.
I am so Thankful that Jesus died for me.
My prayer today is for every single person that has not accepted
Jesus as their Savior, that the Holy Spirit will tug ever more at their heart.
A life without Jesus is just existing!
He paid such a high price that we may have an ever lasting one.

This is my favorite version of it. It is on Youtube.
