Here is is...the end of another year...

2012 was a really weird year for me personally.

Not alot happening..but yet alot happening if that makes any sense. 

I never make resolutions...I just dont believe in them.

But I do need to pick my ONE WORD for the year.

Last year my word was DILIGENT. I did ok with it...but I believe I could have done better.

For 2013...my one word is going to be JOY.

Joy in every situation

Joy that comes ONLY from my savior Jesus Christ.

Joy in helping others without a reward

Joy in speaking nice about others

Joy when there seems to be no answer

Joy when I am having a bad tummy day

Well hello there bloggers.

Finally got my new computer..its a laptop and taking some getting use to.

But I think that I am going to like it.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

We are winding down tonight.

I was so blessed to have BOTH of my boys home and Hubby.

Usually someone is working but not this year.

This is me without my glasses LOL..and Hubby knowing I couldn't see using the webcam.

Yep..my 10+ old computer finally died.  I think it had been wanting

to give out for a while but we kept babying it.

I can home from work on Thursday..my birthday..and it said no more.

So then we had to decide to we shovel money into this...or do we get a new one.

after much debate we decided on getting a new one.

The one that died was a desktop..I decided after talking with hubby yo get a laptop.

So it will be here Tuesday.

Mean while I have been using my sons laptop..I will confess laptops take ALOT of getting use to.

But with a connected mouse I do much better.

What ive been up to

Is it Just me OR is this year zoooming by??

My youngest son and I have been doing some deep cleaning and organizing.

Justin  has great patience for this unlike his mom lol

Wowzers what a weekend

How is everyone doing?

me...I am pooped out!

Thanksgiving went wonderful.  We spend it with some of our family at our church.

Always a good time.

Then Friday I had to work but I did do some online shopping. I don't have enough patience to go out :)

Saturday evening my niece was in a light parade in Tempe. It is her daisy troop.

Here is my youngest son, my mom, and I getting ready to ride the lightrail..it was our first time..LOL

Finally..my one and only batch of Christmas tags. These sold really well for me last year.

Our lil Maggie

For my hubby's birthday the boys wanted to get him a kitty. We had to put down our cat Zoe a few months ago..she was 17yrs old.

Hubby was all smiles...Maggie is about 2 months old...and she is active as ever!

Sometimes she keeps me company by laying behind the monitor where it is warm..

She thinks our dinning room table is her bed. :)

Yes..we LOVe kitties here..we have a total of 4..

Busy busy life

This past Thursday..our oldest son turned 22...I can't say that with out a big lump in my throat.

Here he is with my hubby

Seems like yesterday I was changing diapers and he thought he was a power ranger

our youngest son Justin, Damian, and me.

Then you turn around one day..they are grown and maturing..and making mom feel old lol

This is my niece Zoe..she is a Daisy girl scout..loving it! I sewed her patches on..plus 5 on the back lol

Sharing some pics

We went camping a few months ago..and I FORGOT to share pics...

probably cause camping is NOT my favorite thing to do..

so nice! Trees!

I did survive the trip..and will do it again I am sure. But a cabin would be much better!

Weekend fun

Last night some family came over with the kids and we watched a few Halloween cartoon movies.

My son Damian and his girlfriend Hannah went to a halloween party. I think they were vampires or zombies LOL..They had red contacts in..spooky.

Yesterday we ventured out to some yard sales. Normally I go to estate sales where I can

find vintage lines, and old tea pots, but we decided

to stay a little closer to home.

I know..its Friday night..ugh...I forgot to link up so I am doing it today.

In this busy fast paced life...sometimes I am focused on what I want..

and forget about the blessings I already have.

The Lord has been bringing this to my mind alot...since reopening my ETSY and EBAY shop..

I have been focusing on making things.

The Lord will let me get myself in s tussle..and then as always..

puts his hand on my heart and reminds me of all that he has blessed me with.

Remember what I have..and what joy it brings..always gets me back in line and close to God.

Duck convention

Evening everyone..hope everyone is having a good week.

Fall has "sorta" arrived here. Meaning it is now about 92 during the day..but at night it cools pff into the 70s and 60s and you can sit outside.

We don't use the pool much, but it is nice to sit outside and put your feet in it.

It is still relaxing.

This evening during dinner..hubby opened our blinds in the dining room and said

" Holy crap..look at all the ducks."

NOW..we have had ducks in our pool before, 2 of them invaded used our pool for a few weeks.

I looked out..and Oh my goodness

There was a total of 11..ELEVEN!

Now, dont get me wrong I think it is neat that ducks enjoy our yard/pool enough to visit

but really ELEVEN!

All the while my hubby was saying shhhh...or you'll scare them away!

LOL..after they left..he cleaned the poop from the decking..

tonight my Lucy ( ladybug vacuum) will clean inside the pool.
