oh Where have I been???

YIKES!!!

I know..I have been bad..and not been blogging.

I have been busy though. 

Finishing up some craft presents for a friends Birthday.

and This

LOL..mine was a level 4. I am having to have 3 root canals done. :(

The root canal itself is not painful to me.

I am one of the FEW that fall alseep during dental work. LOL

Its the later that night when my nerve is throbbing that I am like..where are the pain meds. LOL

I think these are hurting my wallet a little bit more than my mouth.

So I am around...still reading everyones blogs.

Hi all, Hope everyone is good out in blogland.

Sharing a funny I seen on Pinterest.

 

I am in the process of moving my craftroom into the back end of our dinning room to make a "quiet"/"playroom" for kids and us. Hubbys fish tank is in the new quiet room along with toys for my niece and nephew and grand daughter. 

Eventually we will get a comfy chair or futon for sleepovers.

I have everything moved just not put into any order, I will post pics soon. I get ALOT of natural light now during the day..and I get to look out at the pool.

yeah its HOT

As most of you know....I reside in Arizona...

where 115 is the norm for August!

No that is not a typo..and PLEASE dont tell me its a dry heat...lol

HOT is HOT!

I'd like to tell you we keep out A/C nice and comfy but we don't. We keep it at about 79degrees..which is fine if you live under fans and don't move. :)

So here is hoping we have an early fall...atleast then I can enjoy my pool again.

Sunflowers

I found a tutorial online on how to make Prim Sunflowers.

So I decided I NEEDED to have some.

Let me tell you..these are so simple and adorable!

I started by cutting out a large circle for the outside in muslin and a smaller circle for the inside.

After hand stitching them and then coffee dying them this is what they look like

The tutorial says to put in the oven..well Arizona has a FREE oven outside during the summer..so these babies went outside to dry! I think it was about 112 yesterday!

I plan on making some pillows with them..maybe even a giveaway eh?

Our Kitty Cloe

Cloe is a special kitty.

About 7 years ago..

Her mommy had her babies under a shed in our backyard.

One day the mommy was moving her litter

and left Cloe behind. 

We waited for a while to see if she would come back. She didn't.

Cloe didn't even have her eyes open.

Hubby said.." We will just keep her until we find her a home"

HAHAHAHA!

Cloe loved toilet paper!

Loved whinning at the top of her lungs.

Loved being rubbed with FEET and not hands.

And 7 years later..I could not imagine life without her.

Every night when I read my bible..she wants attention.

How can you resist.
