Pillow Tucks

One of my most favorite things I love to have in my home is 

pillow tucks.

NOW...I have been asked what is a pillow tuck.

This is NOT the official definition, if there is one, but the way I explain it is

a small pillow on a shelf tucked in by something else.

Whew..did that make sense?

I Love hand stitched ones. They are probably my favorite to make.

Holding Out For Snow?

I have noticed around blogland that some of you r are holding out for a huge snow storm?

Or a blizzard as some have called it.

Where I am we don't get blizzards, we don't even get snow.

It has warmed up a little.

Our days have been in the low 70's.

Which sounds wonderful except soon the A/C will be on full blast in a few months

and summer is NOT my favorite time of year here.

120 degrees...not my friend!

So I am going to share some "cool" 

pics from my past of Northern Arizona.

Where it does get snow.

This is one of my most favorite places to go in Arizona.

It is up near Flagstaff.

Believe it or not you can ski there.

( I do not ski but you can if you do)

This is also near Flagstaff Arizona.

This was fall a few years ago.

It was so beautiful to see!

This road I think I need to spend some time walking down.

Some time talking to my Jesus.

What a beautiful world He has created!

Valentine's Day Listings

This crazy Arizona Weather

I don't know what is going on with the weather.

I know bloggers in the east that their spring flowers are sprouting up,

and us on the west coast are cold and wet and still covering our plants outside.

We have a container garden on our patio and 

every night for the past 2 weeks

 they have been covered at night to protect them from frost.

Northern Arizona Always gets snow but look at those stats!

30 inches in a few weeks. Man oh Man skiing will be amazing this year.

( No I don't ski by the way)

I actually am loving this weather even though I have had a sinus infection for 2 weeks. 

Grrr Antibiotics in hand and I hope getting better.

Christmas Coming Down

I am not one to put up alot of Christmas things.

We live in a smaller townhouse and we don't have alot of room, 

but what I do put up makes me sad when it is time to put it away.

I love looking at the tree in the evening when all the lights are off and it

just radiates beautiful light.

As I was taking down the tree 

I took some pics of some of the ornaments on it.

I have a few of these all over the tree. 

Hand stitched For unto us a child is born.

Thank you Jesus!

This one was from my friend MaryJo. She moved back to her home state 

this past July and sent me a few ornaments. Isn't it pretty!

This one I have had for a while.

I LOVE tag ornaments!!

Is your tree still up? Do you take it down right after Christmas?

Bandit and Romeo

I hope that January is bringing you many blessings.

I hope also you are keeping warm.

I have been watching on the internet 

and it seems some are seasonally warm and other are getting tons of coldness.

Sometimes here at Cynzplace I get these little visitors.

Cynzplace is a kitty home. We have 2, but when my sons girlfriend visits sometimes she

brings her puppies.

The one in the back is Romeo. He is very shy but loves being on the patio.

The front one is Bandit.  He is younger and not shy at all.

We have a doggie door that they use but he will sit in watch us 

through the door to see if we will let him in.

He also likes to steal borrow my slippers and carry through out the house.

I forget how different doggies and kitties are.

They love to go to the dog park by our house and run around and play fetch.

All though fetch does mean playing with all the other doggies at the park.

Miss Maggie

Can I just tell you that I think I have the best kitty cat ever!

Her name is Maggie.

Our home has been loved by many cats over the years.

Hubby loves kitties too!

But for the first time Maggie has struck such a big love in my heart.

This was Maggie when we first got her. She wasn't a baby baby kitty.

But she was adorable!

There she is in a nice freshly dried batch of clothes!

I had just come up the stairs and was like MAGGIE!!

We have a patio outside where Maggie loves to spend time when we are out there. 

She is helping my son work on his motorcycle here.

and finally..Maggie in a box.

Every Amazon order..she thinks is for her.

This Tree

When Hubby and I took our 2 week travel to Indiana and back,

this Arizona native seen some interesting places and things.

Things that my eyes had never seen before.

One of them was this tree.

This was at a zoo in South Bend. It was huge!

I had to stand so far back just to get the whole tree in the picture.

It smelled wonderful as well.

As I was taking the picture I was imagining what if this was decorated for Christmas.

oh all the beautiful lights.

I dont normally do theme decorating but I think I would have all red bulbs on this one.

White light twinkling.

I think it would be grand.

Would you put red bulbs? Blue? All white maybe?

Either way it would look so wonderful I think!

2016 New Year

Happy 2016!!!

Wow just stop and think about that for a minute.

What year were you born? 

Was 2016 even a thought when you were young.

I can honestly say...I don't think I thought past the year 1999.

Was 2015 a good year for you?

That is a hard one to look at.  For me I can't lump it all into one word.

I can tell you this..I had many Blessings.

I had many trials.

But the Lord seen me though each and every one.

I pray that he blesses each one of you!

I pray every trial you go though will be short and met with the Lord fully.

I can not wait to see what the Lord does in 2016!
