quick trip to san diego

Hubby and I celebrated our 22 years of being together by hoping in the SUV and heading to San Diego for a few days with no kids. Our kids are 17 and 20 but sometimes we love the break.It is 111 here in the AZ ..we need cool weather!

although San Diego is too crowded for me..I often ponder..since I love the water so much...why do I live in the heat of the desert????

I love old findings

A few weeks ago, my brother and I ventured out into the 112 degree Arizona heat to go to a few yardsales! 

YES..we are crazy like that!

We went to 5 before we said that is enough..oh but look what I found!

An old Christmas tin..you need a tetnis shot before touching LOL  

and a dozen or so old wooden spools of thread! 

I so love old things...don't you??
