There is something wonderful about a barn

I really do not know why..but I LOVE barns. Out here in Arizona we do not have many soo I spend time searching the internet for barns..I use them as screen savers..wallpaper on my computer..and it makes me so happy!  Here are  a few of my favorites...

Feeding the ducks

Every Sunday Hubby and I try to do a date night. We take turns on who picks what we are doing. This was my week and I decided to do something we have not done together in a loooong time. Feed the ducks at Papago Park. We use to take our kids their ALOT when they were younger, so this was a real treat for us. 2 loaves of bread, a few dozen hungry ducks, cool breezy clouds above, and the love of my life!

John shook the bread bag and here they all come!

They are waiting for me to throw the high fruitose corn syrup enriched flour bread to them lol

Another card for OWH

Here is another card I made. I really liked the way she turned out!  I am hoping to get enough cards to send out in a few weeks. For some reason the crafting mojo has not been in me lately.

Oh Mother Nature we NEED you

I have lived in Arizona my whole life.  Summer is my least favorite time of year. We are holding steady at about 113. Yes it's a DRY heat...blah blah..but enough already!!  We have had clouds hang around for the past week..and don't do anything but pass on by. I have seriously thought about asking the kids to stand outside my bedroom window and spray the water hose on it and I can pretend it is rain. PLEASE MOTHER NATURE..give us some of that good ole rain!!!  Maybe the picture above will help her remember us! :)

2 of my loves

Yesterday my hubby took our youngest son justin on the left and our nephew zander on the right off roading near sunflower arizona.  He said it was a little cooler then it was here in the valley, but still a little warm.

 They sure do enjoy getting dirty!

Next they found an old abandoned mine hubby had been looking for for a while.  Can you see what we see in this pic??  CREEPY!

This is an old truck..looks like someone has used it for target practice. Still old and rusty..just what I like!

Weight loss is a funny thing

Why is it funny you ask?  Because it happens and I don't realize it til I see pics!  I have lost a total of 70 lbs since last year. Yes, with minimal effort but still managed to loose.   Here are my before and during pics...

I seriously did not realize how large I was.....

Look I am getting a waist back!  This is a hard journey,...but one I must take.

 I would like to be below 250lbs by Christmas
