Trials of this Life

Things happen in this life that I totally get..good and bad..and then there are things that happen and I stand scratching my head and wondering what in the world is going on.

It seems to me that alot of my friends and family are going through hard trials of this life.

From reading God's word..I know that we will have trials in this life...

We will have His comfort always...

We just have to learn to lean on Him...he truly wants us to.

This past few months...my family has been going through some hardships...things I don't understand.

We have also been blessed many times as well.

I know we serve and awesome amazing God...who only has our best interests in mind.

He created us...Our life...and knows all.

Lord I Love you!

I am so blessed to be one of your children.

You always bring me though...your love and mercy..so abundant.

I believe in the power of prayer...

When someone asks for me to pray I do...

If you would like me to pray for you...please email me..you don;t need to tell me whats going on..the Lord knows..but I will pray for you.

I also asks to keep my family in your prayers..

Short work week for me..I had Monday and Tuesday off. My friend MJ and I spent the days crafting, shopping, and crafting :)

A Father

My kids have a wonderful Dad..I was sure blessed when God set aside John to be ours kids dad.

Taking the kids to the park to feed ducks when they were younger.

.Now that they are 21 and 17..he still does. :)

The example that John is to our kids...

has been instill in both our boys.

You can see it in Our oldest Son Damian with his daughter Ayva.

Lord, continue to guide them, bless them, and comfort them.

Happy Father's Day to all men! Whether you have kids or not, you have been an influence in someones life.

Thrift Store Finds

Sometimes I go to the thrift store and don't find a thing...

yesterday...I got lucky.

Some old bias tape, rick rack, lace,

and old shorthand book from 1929,

old thread spools from wood,

A fabric BOY SCOUT Pen..have no idea what that is,

I got all this for about $3.50

My 4 day weekend is here...I plan to enjoy the Arizona sun in our pool, crafting time with a friend,spending time with family,

and praising the Lord!

My first Doll

I have admired dolls for a long time..I have never tried to make one though..

until last weekend.

I tried the pattern  Free Prairie Doll from The olde country cupboard

It was very simple...and I loved how she turned out. The only part is I didn't include the little doll the pattern comes with, but I will next time. This doll has no face which is a bonus for me..I don't do faces.

Her name is Hannah..I made her red apple dress from my son's girlfriend Hannahs old dress she gave me.

AGAIN..I love when people give me their old wares. :)

Here she is sitting on my shelf by my sheep. :)

I made a prim tag for her arm.

Jesus is Precious

A few months ago, a lady at my church, came up to me.

She usually plays the piano in our evening service.

She said to me,

while I was at my piano this afternoon, I asked God to give me a song to play this evening,

I smiled...her songs are always great.

She said he gave me the song I am going to sing..and while singing it,

she said my face popped up in front of her,

she said....The Lord said this is your song.

Oh Glory To God!

I made a book mark out of this,

The Lord, he has my heart..he is my everything.

Death would be my sentence if he did not come,

and save me.

How can he be anything less then our everything.

Think on These Things

I have lived in Arizona my whole life..all 39 years.

I have never liked cactus or the HEAT!

But the closer I get to God...

I see and feel more beauty

towards the things he

has created for me..

When we are in our pool

we enjoy seeing little birds

fly in and out of their home.

I have never thought of Arizona as having a beautiful sunset..

till I seen in through the eyes of my 17 yr old.

Oh what beauty the Lord has made for His children!

A prim towel with some sweet annie in the pocket. Hand Crochet dishrags..gorgeous!, cross stitch shelf tuck,and a sheep with twig legs..OK no he is my first sheep..and I adore him!

The sheep and shelf tuck already have new homes.
