Christmas this year was very different. The kids are older, we are older hehe. Hubby was sick and so was my brother. I got up and made biscuts and gravey. Then we opened our gifts. For the rest of the day we watched tv and just spent time with each other. I couldn't have asked for a better day! I am THANKFUL for my FAMILY!

Justin turns 15
I can Hardley believe our youngest is 15! Boy times does really go by fast. I love to tell the story of Justin being born. We were in downtown Phoenix watching fireworks and I went into labor. Instead of leaving, I wanted to wait so that our oldest son would not miss the fireworks. We left right after the fireworks to head to the hospital. I had my cousin James in the car helping me count the contractions. All my family followed us to Good Sam hospital. I got there at 10:50 pm and everyone wanted me to "hurry" so he would be born on the 4th of July. Justin being Justin decided he wanted his own day..and was born 12 minutes after midnight on July 5th.
Happy Birthday Son!!! We love you!!

Damian's graduation pics
Well it is almost high school graduation time here for our oldest son. Boy life really does fly by. I can't believe that he is going to graduate. We are so proud of him! He graduates on May 22nd. I am sure that I will be a babbling, crying mess. I took Damian's senior pics myself. Mainly cause I don't like the ones they do professionally, they are too expensive and I dont have rights to make copies. So here are some of the many pics I took of Damian. I love the black and white one! Congrats son!! We are proud if you!

A Hawk did that?!?
As some of you know John volunteers every Thursday at Adobe Wildlife Rescue in Anthem, Arizona. Although he loves it, it can be scary. Remember they are wild animals! John was cleaning a Red Hawk's cage, when the Hawk quietly swooped in and attacked john with its tallons. John had blood running from his face. It is mating season with the birds, and they were not happy that he was in their cage! After a clean-up, John finished his "chores" and came home. Later the next day, his eye was also bruised! John loves volunteering and would never stop...I just wish the wildlife understood. :)
