Vday swap with my group

Another GREAT swap with my yahoo group! This time we made 9 pages that look like tags. Deb, the wonderful lady that hosts the swaps, will put them together and send back to us and we will have a whole book! I really liked the way mine turned out. Can't wait to see what everyone else did!

New card for Operation Write home

For My borthday..which happens to be 12 days before Christmas..I got some great gifts. One is this thing..you can make perfect circles with it! I sooo love it!  

 

Then a friend got me a gift card. I have been wanting to try my hand at embossing powders. Since we can't use glitter on the cards ( it make the soldiers show up on night vision)  I thought embossing would be good. So I got a heat gun and some embossing powder and versamark ink!  

Here is ONE of the cards I made with the white embossing powder. See those cute little white flowers..so wonderful! I can see lots of embossing in my life :)

Today he turns 36

Today my brother Kevin Turns 36! My brother is well....annoying..loving..loud..meek..loving..bratt..special..pain in the butt...and I wouldn't have it any other way!! We grew up together..fought like you would not believe..and then..forgave and played together again.Usually all in the matter of an hour hehe.  My poor Grandma..she must had a time with us!

He laughs cause I will always be older..ONLY BY 2 YEARS!

A Christmas book gift

I made this book for my mom for Christmas from me and my brother and the 4 grandkids. Needless to say she cried and loved it.  It is called My Book of Loves.

 It is a little mini..so addicted to making these

I can finally share

I have a friend..MJ who I met about 10 years ago where i work. She is my ONE and ONLY crafting friend!!

This year I made her some goodies for her tree..I gave her them today so I can finally post.

What have you been up to???

Thanksgiving..I know its a little late!

For some reason..the Holidays are getting way ahead of my blog posting :) 

I come from a LARGE family. Wouldn't have it any other way! So this year Thanksgiving was at my house. My aunt and uncle live right behind us, so that made things alot easier. Thanksgiving was always at my grandmas where I grew up and there was LOTS of family. So..I think she would be pleased with us this year.

 I had family over and everyone behaved :) 

This year..I know I am very blessed!
