Summer Time cards

Hi all. Hope everyone is safe and getting geared up for summer!

I thought I would share with you some cards that I made with Ewe-N-Me Printables.

I used a set of hang tags called Watermelon Annie Hang Tags. They are so adorable! You could use them on anything I happen to love them on this card.

I leave my cards blank on the inside to give lots and lots of room to write.

Spring Doll Challenge

Howdy everyone. Summer has hit Arizona. 

We have been in the 109s and I have been enjoying the pool!

Yes that is hot, yes it is a dry heat, no I dont like it LOL

But it is what it is.

I joined Ravenwood Whimzies Spring Doll CHallenge.

 have to say...I am happy with her!!

 This was my first hair job. LOL It wasn't hard just time consuming. You can follow the hair tutorial over at Old Road Primitives

I made the wings out of cardboard covered with scrapbook paper that says I Love You. She has black button eyes. I made the flower and her apron is from a coffee dyed vintage doiley.  THen the tag was a gift a long time ago.

Good evening bloggers!

Boy oh Boy life has gotten very busy for me.

Has it for anyone else?

I have been busy making this for wholesale and facebook orders. I am so Thankful for them!!

I have been doing horrible on my eating. I mean horrible. So I am going to get back on my horse and try again.

 

I recently starting getting Eczema. Actually about 2 years ago and it has gotten worse.  I have no idea whats going on. Its annoying and itchy! Anyone out there who has it and has any advise please let me know would love to hear from you.

 

Exercising?? NOPE!! and that makes me so mad!! Again another horse I gotta get back on.

Why oh why do we let ourselves go back into the same ole same ole trap.

Oh yes, give it to Jesus. How I forget. I think I can do this alone. I can not. I need him every hour of every day.

Happy Easter  Weekend everyone!

Wanted to share with you the baby ducks that hatched a little over a week ago. It is from the momma that decided to "nest" in our back yard by the pool.

 

here you can kinda see one of the eggs if you looks really really close. Momma did a good job of covering them with her feathers.

 

You can hardly see them cause they move fast and its hard to get a good pic of them. Momma had 12 babies. (excuse the messy tree hubby was trimming it when h found the mommas nest)

We spent the first 2 days helping the babies out of the pool. We built ramps, and floating things and they would get so tired and water logged hubby and sons had to get in their swim trunks and actually get in the water and "fish" them out.

We finally decided the babies and momma needed to go to a sanctuary because the babies would have drowned. One almost did!   So a guy from a rescue place came and got them and took them to their new home where there are lagoons and trees and other ducks.

We were also worried about them not having proper nutrition in our yard. I mean we live in the city. LOL

SO while I miss them I am glad they are safe and that we were able to help. Hubby was totally bummed out but is better now. 

Hope you all have a Happy Easter. I am so Thankful for our Lord Jesus Christ. Without him I would be bound for eternity in Hell. But now my sins are washed away and I am on my way to heaven!
