Its a Snowman kinda day

Happy Saturday all.

I have been busy completing some orders for Snowmen nornies. I "think" fallish weather has come to arizona. It is still getting into the 90s during the day but at night it cools into the 60s. We can still swim in our pool its nice and cool but soon that will also come to an end.

As you can see below there are alot of them.  Lots of snowmen being made today.

This is one of my own designs and you can use them as tucks or ornies. They look so cute in person!

I also bought my first pattern from Chestnut Junction.

I say first because her pattern was so easy and oh my gosh I am in LOVE with this snowman. I will be buying more from her.

Happy Weekend all!

I have been seeing the beginnings of fall around on Pinterest and everyones blogs.

Where I live in Arizona there is very little fall or change this time of the year. Thought I would share a  few pictures of where I live.

This is near where I work. In real life the purple is alot brighter but for some reason my camera was not getting it. Yes..lots of dirt LOL

These are the papago mountains. The Phoenix Zoo is near here and some duck ponds.

When it gets cooler I will take some pics there.

This is on my drive home from work. Its funny as a kid I would always say these mountains look light rocky road ice cream. LOL

As  a kid I spent many weekends climbing these mountains.  There is one near hear called the Whole in the rock. Its a hard climb, BUT when it cools off I am going to tackle it and take pics.

You can see the whole Phoenix valley from that mountain.

I do not know why the Lord place my family here in Arizona. LOL. But he did and this is where we are to be I believe. For now. So I will try and find and share the Lord's beauty!

Clean eating

Happy Tuesday all.

Thought I would share a pic with you.

Remember I was doing a clean eating challenge?

Well that it was...a Challenge!!! Out the gate did good!

Then I got lazy, slipped into OLD habits.

ugh!

But I didnt slip as far back as to when I started. Now with my GP ( gastroparesis) some clean eating was a challenge. No salads here. But roasted veggies in the oven were no problem.

 Here is one of the meals. Its sorta chicken soup in a crockpot.

Everything organic and clean!

So yummy!

I am getting better at preparing. That for me is the hardest part. 

I have not weighed myself. I am suppose to in a few days. I can tell on certain parts of my body something has happened LOL.

and let me tell you it would HURT when I would put in a pudding snack. LOL

But what I learned most is my ratios. Between fats, carbs, and protein.

I will continue to explore this because honestly...I feel led by the Lord to get healthy.

From HEAT to COOL

Arizona really acts funny sometimes.

I have lived here my whole 40 years of life, you would think I would be use to it by now.

We have been in the neck of the heat 108 degree heat. 

Monsoons that mainly brought dust not that much water.

and then....

2 days  ago storms roll in and cool us off to 79 degrees and

almost overflow my pool LOL

This is driving down a freeway near my home. The heavy rain clouds were coming in.

The sun was shinning through. 

The Mountains were just so.

 

Even though its the desert. Even in the desert I can find beauty.

where is the time going

It seems like facebook and orders have been taking up alot of my time.

Seems blogging has slipped my mind.

Which I don't like because I LOVE blogging. and I LOVE sharing and reading everyone blogs.SO I thought I would share some pics with you.

Seems Maggie likes sleeping near my sewing machine. LOL. I was working on a few friends gifts and there she is.

and then there is this whole CLEAN EATING thing I have been on for a week. Its a 30 day challenge. It is harder then I thought it would be. Here is our grilled peaches. Yummy!

Then there was camping. Oh I so love being outdoors, but not so much camping. We actualy got rained out and came home a day early.

and then there is always just plain sillyness! Zoe, my niece was showing ME how to work the webcam LOL. 

Then I had this quilt top just sitting around. My aunt and I put it together and gave it to a lady at our church who had knee surgery. She loved it!

So, that has been my world the last few months. Little bit of this and that.
